Pahrump in Paiute means "Water from Rock"...... The Southern Paiutes occupied this area, as in Vegas......
Here are the "Pahrump Rivers". There are 2. Though they are both in Clark County just a mile east of the Tecopa turnoff on rt 160
They both will prob dry up at the end of summer. Mt Charleston runoff is the source..... Also, the mosquito pond on the dry lake has dried up.
Below is the road to Vegas across the desert and over Mt. Potasi(east), which I must traverse twice a day, 5 days a week. Over 180 miles round trip.
