--=BIRTH OF A SAND/DESERT CAR, Final SheetMetal and FloorBoard--

Finishing the SheetMetal and FloorBoard!!!! OK, so I didn't get to test drive it yet... To much small shit to finish. I finally went in to Vegas and bought another .065 4x8 piece of aluminum sheet along with a .095 sheet for the floor..... I can finish the sidepanels, make some heat shield for the exhaust and make the floorboard from my plywood template. For under the seats I used the thin aluminum sheet

I finished the wiring between the seats and put plastic wire loom around it. Then secured it all.

The headers were welded up and painted. Also heat shields were made and installed.....

Next was cutting the floorboard using the plywood template. This is an almost $200 piece of aluminum so it must be right... Shown below are the pics. Turned out perfect..(G)
