BATALIAS.COM RC AIRPLANES

Here is my recently built HANGAR 9 ULTRASTICK. It is powered by a G-23 ZENOAH. It has been built with a smoke system. The smoke muffler is a BENNETT smoke muffler. The pump is a TME smoke pump powered by a seperate battery The radio is a FUTABA T8UAF FM/PCM computer radio. There are 8 FUTABA servo's to control everything. Which includes seperate FLAPS and AIRLERON'S. This machine is capable of FLAPS DOWN for very short landings/takeoffs. Plus a CROW feature is also available for some very high attitude/slow speed landing. This plane has yet to be test flown because of the very hot weather here in the high desert of LAS VEGAS. Once the weather starts cooling down (100 degrees) I will begin tests on the ELDORADO Dry Lake some 30 minutes south of here.

SIDENOTE : I seem to now prefer GASOLINE/OIL fueled engines and NOT the NITRO stuff. The NITRO fuels seem to spoil easy and are expensive compared to GASOLINE/OIL fuels. Plus the larger planes required for GASOLINE/OIL engines seem to have an easier to fly appeal. Though, I do have some small electric and park flyers. I guess there are advantages to both!
